October 19, 2009 (Salt Lake City, UT) – Target Corporation has finalized the purchase of a 12-acre assemblage that has been in process for two years at 1120 South 300 West just blocks from Salt Lake City’s central business district. The department store plans to start construction soon and has a scheduled opening for October 2010. The site is being developed by Miller Weingarten Corporation and is part of their 210,000 square foot retail project known as 300 West Towne Center.
Robert Cooper of Professional Brokers, member of X Team International, represented Target Corporation on this transaction and handles their real estate needs in the Utah market. “This site is positioned ideally for Target and will serve the Salt Lake Valley’s northeast trade area well” said Robert. “It has been a long process, but assemblages in dense areas like this typically are.” For more information about Target in the Utah market, contact Robert Cooper at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
