San Francisco, CA - Kroger, the nation’s largest grocery chain, has recently completed a 23-store disposition of undersized and uncompetitive assets in the San Francisco Bay Area. Spanning five counties and numerous municipalities, the portfolio was bundled into various groups of stores that were sold to multiple buyers, after an exhaustive marketing program that targeted both grocery and non-grocery retailers.
X Team partner John Cumbelich & Associates, together with co-consultant The Food Partners of Washington D.C., represented Kroger in this disposition assignment.
John Cumbelich & Associates also exclusively represents Kroger on acquisitions for large format grocery stores in the 62,000 to 84,000 SF size range throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.
